These terms cover the IMPAKT Twitch extension and the IMPAKT website. By using either, you accept them.

What IMPAKT is

IMPAKT lets an audience take part in a live stream: voting on what happens, predicting outcomes, and paying coins for actions the streamer's game has chosen to offer. The game itself always decides what actually happens. A viewer sends a request, never a command.

Coins are not money

Coins are virtual tokens used inside IMPAKT. They have no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another person, sold, or exchanged for money or anything outside IMPAKT. Inside the Twitch extension coins are earned only and cannot be bought at all.

Because coins cannot be cashed out, predictions and betting features inside IMPAKT are not gambling and there is no prize of value. If coins are ever withdrawn from your balance in error, our responsibility is limited to restoring the coins.

Fair use

Do not automate participation, run scripts or bots, open multiple accounts to influence an outcome, or interfere with a streamer's game or another viewer's experience. We may suspend access for any of these.

Streamers

If you connect a game to IMPAKT, you decide which actions exist, what they cost and how often they may be used. You are responsible for what your game does with the crowd's input and for the content of your stream.

Availability

IMPAKT is in active development and is offered as it is, without a promise that it will be available or uninterrupted. If a round cannot be settled, the stakes in it are returned.

Ending access

You can stop using IMPAKT at any time. We may end access if these terms are broken. Coins are not property and do not survive an account being closed.
