How IMPAKT handles your data. Last updated 19 August 2026.
IMPAKT lets a live audience take part in the game being streamed. This page covers two different things, and they collect very different amounts: the Twitch extension, and the impakt website.
The Twitch extension
When you open the IMPAKT panel on a Twitch channel, Twitch gives us a signed token. We read three things out of it and nothing else.

We do not receive or ask for your Twitch username, your email, or your Twitch identity. The panel does not request identity sharing. We do not store your IP address or your browser's user agent for extension activity. The panel sets no cookies of its own.
If you sign out of Twitch and back in, Twitch issues a different opaque id, and you are a new person to us. We cannot connect the two.
Nothing is sold in the panel
Coins inside the extension are earned only. They cannot be bought there, and they cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money anywhere. There is no payment step in the panel, so we hold no payment data from it at all.
The website
If you make an account on the IMPAKT site itself, that is a different relationship and we hold more. An account carries the email address or sign-in provider you used and your display name. For each active sign-in session we record the IP address and browser user agent it was created from, so you can see where you are signed in and end a session you do not recognise.
Purchases on the website are handled by Stripe. Card numbers never reach our servers and we never see them.
Who processes it
- Fly.io and Vercel host the service.
- Supabase stores accounts and balances.
- Stripe handles website payments.
- Vercel Web Analytics counts page visits on the website. It is cookieless and does not track people across sites.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK you may ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to ethan@impaktlive.gg and we will answer within one month.
For extension data, tell us the channel and roughly when you were watching: an opaque id is all we have, so we may not be able to find you from an email address alone.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
